Clonemaster's laboratory houses the biggest collection of bacteria applicable to eco-remediation in Africa. With the aid of extensive cryogenic facilities and ultra freezers this collection is protected against bacteriophage as well as genetic drift.

Wild strains collected from indigenous forests in Africa are carefully correlated to type strains obtained from international microbe collections.

These strains are identified and categorized using standard bacteriological methods, after witch it is subjected to further strain, biovar, sub-species and serovars by molecular methods. It is then fingerprinted and enter the long process of testing, first in-vitro and then for application where needed on coal and industrial waist as well as in our insectarium or hothouses.
